        <s:content>1 YALM: Yet Another Layout Modification {anchor:YALM: Yet Another Layout Modification}&#xA;I&apos;ve modified again the blog&apos;s layout, I often get tired of having the same layout for a long time.\\ &#xD;&#xA;This time instead of creating one from scratch I based on the one I already had done because it was simple and clean. The modifications weren&apos;t many, but I think they boost the look of the blog. Here are the modifications listed:&#xD;&#xA;&#xD;&#xA;1. There&apos;s a new panel which includes a brief presentation about me and yet another ugly photo of myself. ~~laugh~~ &#xD;&#xA;1. There&apos;s a small banner, to give some visual impact. The keyboard photo was shot by me a while ago and full photo can be found in {link:storage|url=http://storage.pabrantes.net/keyboard3.jpg}.&#xD;&#xA;1. The blog date&apos;s background for new entries became a gradient instead of a solid color.&#xD;&#xA;1. The icons for permalink, user snip, regular snip and comment were changed.&#xD;&#xA;1. Navigation arrows for next page and previous page of the weblog were also added.&#xD;&#xA;&#xD;&#xA;I&apos;m no designer but I&apos;m very happy with the result I came up with. It seems to me that it&apos;s clean and stylish - still I may be wrong.\\&#xD;&#xA;As usual comments regarding the modifications, or any suggestions, are more than welcome.</s:content>

                        <s:content>I must say that the banner makes the title difficult to read. I also find the new icons a little too big. But the rest looks great.&#xD;&#xA;&#xD;&#xA;(Actually I don&apos;t quite remember the previous layout but this one looks nice. :-))&#xD;&#xA;&#xD;&#xA;PS: Has, this change, anything to do with {link: the increase in visitors|url=/blog/space/start/2007-08-04/1}?</s:content>

                        <s:content>Well it seems I have to work more on the banner, well not really on the banner but on the fonts... Still don&apos;t know how to fix that problem though. The icons are currently 22x22, I&apos;ll try with 16x16. &#xD;&#xA;&#xD;&#xA;Regarding the change I like to changes layours from time to time, but this time I also got two, let&apos;s say, &quot;motivation&quot; emails - from the new visitors - regarding blog&apos;s presentation which motivated me to change it a bit.&#xD;&#xA;&#xD;&#xA;Thanks for the feedback! :-)</s:content>
