Blog: Insight about this blog internal stats

Last month one of my posts - >>Java Programming: First steps with ClassLoaders - was submitted to >>dzone, a digg like website but only dedicated to IT, an interesting site, I must say. I didn't know it and now I'm a daily reader.

After the first submission three more posts were submitted by jpmsi and jff (thank you guys). The interesting thing is that the traffic I got through dzone was astonishing. The average of unique daily visits before July was around 100 visitors, but, last month I had a day with 600 unique visits.
Below there's a chart that shows all the traffic since December 2005 when the blog started, the huge difference on last month is visibile. The red line represents the number of total visits, on the other hand the blue line showsthe number of unique visits.

In order to know more about October's 2006 peek read >>Spam Bots: another pain in the ass - the link says it all.

Seeing this information, makes me think I'm succeeding in writing interesting and useful content. Such thought motivates me to write more and better content.

Thank you all.
